While in that case it was a goat horn that Zeus accidentally broke off, today the cornucopia is typically represented as a basket full of the fruits of the season's harvest. What hasn't changed? Sweetest Day has been celebrated in the Midwest for nearly 100 years, the creation of a group of businessmen in Cleveland, OH in the early 1900's.
